FLUSHING and CLEANSING. There are a myriad of diets and plans available. I have chosen to take a few off the internet as well as from friends and post them on my blog. The following s a menu plan that I was referred to by a friend. The flavors and textures are satisfying and the menu is well balanced.
This diet is designed to cleanse your colon and flush toxins from your body. Also aids in weight loss- gradually, without a shock to your system. Use the plan for 14 days for optimal results.BREAKFAST shake
BLEND:
1 banana
1 1/2 cp 1% milk
2tsp honey
1/2 cp ice
LUNCH
1/4 tube polenta, cubed and sauteed
5mins w/ spray turn cook 5 more
1 ounce goat cheese
1 tbsp chopped pecans
3 Cups fresh spinach
1/2 Cup shredded carrot
Toss with Dressing
2 tbsp pomegranate juice
1 tsp olive oil
1 tsp Dijon mustard
DINNER
1 1/3 cup low sodium black beans
1/3 cup cooked brown rice
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp cumin
1/4 tsp crushed red pepper
Mix above
Using 4 whole wheat wraps
place 1/3 cup bean mixture
2 ounces grilled chicken
1/4 cup shredded carrot
1 tbsp diced avocado
2 tbsp Roma tomato
Seal each wrap slice in half
Serve with hot sauce if desired
SNACK
1/2 cup low-fat Greek yogurt
1 tsp honey
2 tbsp old fashioned rolled oats-uncooked or toasted
Fat flush cooler
8 cups brewed green tea or peppermint tea
Slices of orange, lime, lemon
Hot or cold- up to 1 pitcher a day.
